Everyone deserves to be well

Equitea was created out of necessity.

When our son, Jayden, was diagnosed with ADHD, we set out to do everything possible to help manage it holistically. When his neurologist suggested we look into green tea as a natural alternative to medication, we started on a path to learn everything we could about teas and botanicals, and all the ways they could help our family stay healthy. As parents, tea was already a regular part of our daily wellness ritual, so expanding it to include our children was an easy, YES!

What we quickly learned about the tea options that were available in retail at the time, was that most of them were either of low quality or didn't taste good, especially to a 9 year old! So we started making our own blends with organic, loose leaf ingredients, and came up with one that Jayden loved. And we did, too! This was the origin of our Lavender Green Tea, which is still a family favorite.

We were soon making tea blends for the whole family. Quentin's philosophy is that "a shared story could be a saved life", so we decided to make available for other families what we had created for our own.

Equitea exists to destigmatize mental health, expand pathways to wellness and help make mental health centered products more accessible and equitable.

We hope you enjoy our teas as much as we do, and we thank you for your support!
